EMBODIMENT THROUGH THE PRACTICE OF YOGA I believe and experience embodiment as the gateway to feeling fully alive, comfortable, and safe in your skin. When embodied, it allows for a greater sense of resiliency, and confidence, which in turn ripples into all experiences and relationships. It heals. It brings clarity. It allows us to live into the truth of who we are. It invites us to ask the questions: "what's happening around me?" "where is my body in space?" "what's happening inside my body?" How might you discover this continuum in your body, in a Yoga class? It's all about functional and mindful movement. Finding ways to move that support you not only on your yoga mat - but in your everyday life. We balance, we check-in, we breathe deeply, we observe our breath, we stretch, we strengthen, we twist and turn. We explore. We regulate and restore our nervous system. We don't compare and we discover moment to moment awareness of our individual body. Sometimes this is done with the support of props ranging from blocks, bolsters, and cozy blankets - to sand bags, kettle bells, stretchy bands or crystal bowls. Or perhaps even the toning of your voice. We can access these moments by engaging the whole body in movement as well as times of deep quiet conscious rest. The continuum is broad and guaranteed to leave you feeling strong, centered, balanced, present, and open to discovering both the familiar and the unfamiliar. Practicing all of this in a trauma aware, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment.
Private Embodied Movement YOGA A private yoga session is a great way to deepen your practice, self study, enhance skills, and engage in self care. It is also a great way to learn the fundamentals of embodied movement, and how you might begin to develop a home practice. Private sessions are thoughtfully tailored to meet your specific needs. Investment: $70 / Hour Packages Available for a weekly scheduled time $360 for 8 weeks (Pre-paid and scheduled)

Since the beginning of my Yogapractice I have studied and completed several trainings, and will continue to be a lifetime practitioner of yoga, strength, and trauma informed movement practices. I have studied Yoga for the Nervous System with clinical Psychologist Bo Forbes, Restorative Yoga at the Omega Institute of Holistic Studies, I am a certified Relax & Renew® facilitator with Judith Hanson Lasater, and a certified Movement for Traumalevel 1 specialist with Jane Clapp. I completed my 200hour Cross-disciplinary training with the Deva Tree School of Yoga, Yoga Nidra with Yoga for You, and various courses with Radiant Child Yoga and Yoga Kids foundations at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. I have a deep love of integrating the ancient teachings of yoga, with the current science of movement and nervous system health that supports the development of strong, embodied and resilient living. I embrace and encourage multiple movement modalities that focus on the Holistic approach of Yoga and Embodiement.
