A mindful strength practice incorporating weight and functional movements that optimize natural range of motion through the joints of the body. The later half of the class will be a supportive practice with the use of props to encourage deep relaxation through comfort, ease, and stillness. A highly beneficial practice to balance the nervous system, strengthen the major joints of the body, relieve stress, anxiety, pain and digestive discomfort. Britt and I are very excited to be collaborating our work and sharing our mutual passion for fitness, nutrition and yoga as being a part of a holistic approach to wellness. Weeks 1, 2, 4 & 5 will focus on the physical and emotional components of strength training and yoga. Weeks 3 & 6 will focus on eating and nourishing the body for health. This is a great program for anyone interested in a holistic approach to health and wellness. One that is supportive in toning the body, balancing blood sugar, increasing bone health, stimulating to the mind, balancing of the emotions, and offers a deep sense of stability and strength from the inside out. All participants will receive not only 2 practitioners in an intimate setting, but also a workbook, nutrition containers, recipes and meal plans according to your needs.
